Zirtue Pay Overview

Zirtue Pay is an alternative payment method that helps billers capture payments from customers who may be at risk of falling behind. Instead of entering collections, your customers can request support from a friend or family member (“the lender”), who pays the bill on their behalf. Zirtue handles the repayment tracking between them, while you receive funds directly quickly and securely.

Zirtue Pay requires no system integration, no API work, and no operational overhead. Billers simply share a Zirtue Pay link with customers, and Zirtue handles identity verification, loan setup, movement of funds, and repayment scheduling behind the scenes.

How It Works

1. Customer initiates assistance

Your customer opens Zirtue Pay using your dedicated link and verifies their identity.
They enter their account number and amount due.

2. Customer requests support

They send a Bill Pay loan request to one trusted person, usually a friend or family member.

3. Lender pays the bill

Once the lender accepts the request, Zirtue securely moves the payment from the lender’s bank account directly to your billing account. You receive the payment just like any standard customer payment.

4. Repayment happens in the background

Zirtue manages repayment between the customer and their lender, with autopay, reminders and tracking.
You are not involved in this repayment process.
